Notice of Development Application. The applicant is proposing a Shoreline Exemption application to add a roof over
an existing impervious deck attached to an existing single-family residence. The proposed deck cover is
within shoreline jurisdiction but outside of shoreline buffers and setbacks. The project is exempt from
SEPA per WAC 197-11-800(1)(b)(i) and from a substantial development permit per WAC 173-27-040(2)
(g). The comment period ends on October 27, 2021.


Notice of City Council Public Hearing and Zoom information. The Langley City Council will hold a (virtual) public hearing on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 5:30 pm via ZOOM to consider public comments and conduct 2nd reading on Ordinance 1080, the updated City of Langley Shoreline Master Program.


Notice of Development Application and Optional DNS process for Type I Site Plan Review application to demolish an existing duplex and construct a total of nine, one-to-three-bedroom residences under the multifamily infill provisions of LMC 18.13. The units are to be sold via a Community of Common Interest as air-apace condominiums. The development is proposed on four existing contiguous lots. One central driveway will provide shared access off Third St. and parking will be located in the center of the development. Trees are proposed to be removed to accommodate the development. A landscaping plan and arborist report have been provided in support of the request to remove trees and landscape the development.


Notice of application with optional DNS process for the Port of South Whidbey, Langley Harbor for five years of regular maintenance.  The optional DNS in WAC 197-11-355 is being used.  The comment period ends on September 3, 2021.  SEPA Checklist.


Notice of application with optional DNS process to convert the Boatyard Inn, 200 Wharf St from 10 hotel units to 10 residential units.  A water line is being installed as part of the development.  A variance so the parking requirements of LMC 18.22.130.C.2.b is being requested.  The optional DNS in WAC 197-11-355 is being used.  The comment period ends on January 27, 2021.  SEPA Checklist.


Notice of application and optional DNS process to rezone the two properties located at the corners of Second Street and DeBruyn Avenue from Mixed Residential (MR) to RS5000 to facilitate a short plat to create three lots from two lots.  Construction on each lot is proposed to include a single family residence, one attached ADUA and one detached ADU. The optional DNS proposed in WAC 197-11-355 is being used.  The comment period ends on May 26, 2020SEPA checklist.  A public hearing is scheduled for July 1, 2020.  Final DNS issued June 2, 2020.  Draft Ordinance no. 1069.
